Isla

This film is a narrative project directed by Elin Martinsen. It’s a family drama in which a five year-old’s life takes a turn for the worse after her curiosity is misjudged by protective adults.

It starrs Amy Newton, Lily Rowland and James Ruskin and was produced by Elena Nassati and Justyna Gosch. In terms of the score the brief was to try and capture a certain loss of innocence and to incorporate music boxes and other instruments associated with childhood.
